JSC Nizhnekamskshina is the largest tire manufacturing company occupying the leading position among the tire manufacturers in the Russian Federation and CIS countries. The Company manufactures KAMA and KAMA EURO brands tires. The range of the tires produced includes more than 120 sizes and models, including those developed by the specialists of the "Kama" Scientific and Technical Center. JSC "Nizhnekamskshina" is supplier No. 1 in the Russian market, which homologated tires for the car factories of foreign manufacturers Fiat, Volkswagen, Skoda.
A 300 millionth tire rolled off the assembly line of "Nizhnekamskshina" on July 22, 2007. It was KAMA EURO-228 of size 205/75 R15 designed for Chevrolet Niva cars.
In 2012, the tire manufacturing plants of JSC TATNEFT produced more than 13 million tires per year for the first time. The 13 millionth tire rolled off the mold of vulcanizing shop No. 1 of JSC "Nizhnekamskshina" on December 27, 2012. It was KAMA EURO-129 195/55 R15 designed by the professionals of OOO "Kama" Scientific & Technical Center in collaboration with leading European engineers taking into consideration of the Russian road conditions and designed for the assembly of Volkswagen Polo Sedan cars.
JSC "Nizhnekamskshina" became the winner of the All-Russian “Environmental Leader in Russia-2012" contest. The VIIIth All-Russian contest results were announced at the IInd Congress of Russian environmentalists held in Moscow.
According to the results of work in 2012 "AvtoVAZ" Company and GAZ Group, which are main consumers of tires, assigned the category of "Reliable Supplier” and "Excellent Supplier» respectively to the factory.
In March 2013 the tire manufacturing complex of TATNEFT delivered the 1 millionth KAMA EURO tire to the conveyor of the Volkswagen Group plant in Kaluga.
The results of the prestigious contest "100 best organizations in Russia. Ecology and Environmental Management” were summed up in St. Petersburg in March 2013. The winner of the contest was JSC "Nizhnekamskshina" and Radiy Burganov, Executive Director of the Company, was awarded an honorary badge "Environmentalist of the Year”. Aydar Belyayev, Deputy Chief Engineer and Head of the Industrial Safety and Environmental Protection Department of "Nizhnekamskshina was awarded the title in the category "Best Manager of Environmental Service". Anuza Akhmetzyanova, first category environmental engineer of the JSC "Nizhnekamskshina" was recognized the best environmental practice expert.
April 2013witnessed the 40th anniversary of outputting the first product. The first 6.15x13 inner tube for "Lada" car rolled off the production line conveyor of the Nizhnekamsk tire plant in 1973.
